Green Circle
Just to the south of Oberlin, Ohio USA, Green Circle Growers built a new orchid nursery. In this part of the United States, cooling is always needed for the spike development of orchids in the summer. At Green Circle, they decided to use ClimateOptimizers and Priva Airtubes underneath the growing tables. This combination mixes greenhouse air with outside air, can add CO2 to the mixture and distributes this mixture evenly across the crop via the Priva Airtubes. Results: less CO2 emission and lower energy consumption, a lower incidence of disease, no cold snaps and a better microclimate around the plant.
