Priva set to unveil groundbreaking process computer at Horti Fair

At this year’s Horti Fair exhibition, Priva will be unveiling their latest innovation in automated climate and process control – the brand new Connext process computer.
Like Priva’s flagship Intégro process computer, Priva Connext will interactively connect to and manage all horticultural machinery and processes but, with new hardware and software based on an expanded library of control modules, the new system will vastly increase the scope and level of control available to the grower. The new Connext process computer is fully compatible with the management operating system, Priva Office Direct, allowing growers to manage and monitor horticultural process with an unprecedented degree of accuracy.
Greater insight into company-wide processes
The Priva Connext makes use of six intervals per 24-hour period and provides an expanded library of control modules, with all settings clearly presented within the Priva Office Direct operating program. The new process computer can also be connected with Priva Fusion, the horticultural management information system, allowing climate information to be fully synchronised with labour, production and plant data. This level of interactivity between programs and process across the company provides new insights into growing operations and enables this data to be shared and compared online or offline with colleagues, study groups, advisors and, if necessary, other horticultural sites around the world.
Consistency, reliability and remote working
Horticultural businesses are becoming ever-larger and it is important that they maintain a clear, consistent overview of their operations. Priva Connext has been designed around a single central network, simplifying the link-up process and minimizing on cabling. Furthermore, the network can be monitored remotely, not only allowing 24/7 connectivity to horticultural processes, but also enabling faults to be traced and resolved instantly, with minimal computer downtime in the event of a malfunction.
Capacity for expansion
Priva Connext integrates seamlessly into any existing climate automation environment and remains fully compatible with the current Priva Intégro process computer. This allows Priva's existing customers to continue expanding their systems by extending the lifespan of their existing Intégro process computers, without needing to completely reform their entire climate system.
