Eurofresh Farms has gone through a number of turbulent years. With the return of founder Johan van den Berg as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the largest tomato and cucumber producer in the US is on the way back up. ‘We’re still at the top – and we are making every effort to stay there.’ Priva is an important partner in the achievement of this ambition.
Big, bigger, biggest – that's an apt description of Eurofresh Farms. The company’s two complexes at Willcox and Snowflake, both in Arizona, have a total area of some 128 hectares. Eurofresh Farms has almost 1,400 employees, making the company one of the most important employers in the region. Tomatoes on the vine – by far the most important product group – and cucumbers are marketed under the Eurofresh label via supermarket chains throughout the USA.

For Eurofresh, Priva is a first rate partner. ‘It’s a relationship based on trust’, according to Johan van den Berg. ‘Priva has always played a role in the heart of our operations, and the majority of our process computers come from De Lier.’
